Creating Audios and Teleseminars That Get Results
Before you create your audio seminars and interviews you should know that a few key tips will help get visitors listening to your audios, and maybe even to your sales pages.
After doing a few myself, I?ve learned a thing or three and even after listening to the ?pros? I can tell you with confidence that if you follow these simple tips, you?ll be just fine.First: It must have a good title. Boring book titles, shows and movies that confuse and don?t inform visitors of the content are passed over. Think of movies you?ve seen that had crappy titles, but were actually pretty good films. Same idea.
Second: Good content is king. I?m not going to go against that sage wisdom as everyone wants to know something they don?t already know. However, keep it CONTENT RICH, and not a sales fest or your listeners will be turned off. They expect some, but not more than a few minutes.Ali Brown?s Silver Mastermind had a call that was a little helpful, but mostly sales x 10 recently. As I listened, I thought ?I?m paying for this call. Why are they schmoozing each other and going overboard with the sales push?? It rather teed me off.
Take that as a lesson (I did). Don?t make it a sales-talk; make it an educational talk. People will naturally be interested and want more if you do that. You won?t even need to sell (much).
Fourth: Turn up the volume! I mean seriously, don?t scream into the microphone, but be sure your volume levels are appropriate. I recently heard a great guest being hosted by someone who I couldn?t hear even with my speakers turned all the way up. I heard the guest but not the host. Not a great way to hear a call. Finally: Thinking of signing up for audio classes or the like? Get a SAMPLE of the person?s speaking and audio style.
This is the reason:
Lately, I toyed with the idea of taking a rather pricey online course with a media maven. It was a group training and all done over the phone. Before buying I listened to a (somewhat hidden) audio link I found. Thankfully I heard it BEFORE I bought.
Can you say ?snoozefest?? Plus she had a terrible cough that she neither tried to hide or addressed with apologies. It was increasingly difficult to listen to the boring, long, rambling audio while intermittent hacks. Enough was enough and that was the end of that.
Use common sense, record with confidence and a conversational style and practice until you know exactly what works best for you?and sounds best to the rest of us!
